Guido Hibdon inducted into The Professional Bass Fishing Hall of Fame
The induction will take place in the Hot Springs Convention Center on Saturday night, May 25, at 7:30 p.m. The final weigh-in of the Hall of Fame Championship Tournament and the trade show also will be in the Convention Center.
In addition to Guido Hibdon
the following will be inducted into this year's Hall of Fame
Lure designer Cotton Cordell
All-time B.A.S.S. money winner Denny Brauer
TV fishing host and multi-Classic qualifier Jimmy Houston
Former Bassmaster Magazine editor and television show producer Bob Cobb
Johnny Morris, founder of Bass Pro Shops
Last year was the inaugural Hall of Fame induction, and those elected comprised a "who's who" of bass fishing: B.A.S.S. founder Ray Scott, first Classic winner Bobby Murray, Rick Clunn, Roland Martin, Larry Nixon, Bill Dance, bass fishing writer Homer Circle and Ranger boats founder Forrest Wood.
"Bass fishing fans who come to the tournament will have the opportunity to meet many of today's top pros in person, as well as some of the founding fathers and legends of our sport," said Hall of Fame executive director Larry Helmke. "Where else can you go and see all of these folks in one place at the same time?"
Founded last year, the Hall of Fame is an independent, nonprofit organization
dedicated to promoting the sport of bass fishing, and is a shrine to the men,
women and companies that have brought the sport of bass fishing to anglers
around the world
